Help visitors understand, decide and contact the right person

A useful business website should explain the offer, answer important questions and make the next action obvious. Enquiry automation can then reduce avoidable copying, forwarding and delay.

Clarify the offer

Organise services, sectors and calls to action around the questions prospective clients are likely to ask.

Build credibility

Use clear company information, delivery explanations and approved evidence without unsupported claims.

Capture useful details

Collect the information needed to understand an enquiry and provide an appropriate next step.

Discuss enquiry automation

A page count is not the complete scope

The written proposal also confirms page types, content responsibilities, forms, integrations, workflow rules, revision rounds, acceptance points, third-party costs and work specifically excluded.

One useful workflow

Automate a defined hand-off, not an entire business relationship

The appropriate workflow depends on what the enquirer should provide, who owns the next action, what systems are supported and where human review remains necessary.

01

Qualification

Show relevant questions based on an agreed service, location, requirement or other useful criterion.

02

Structured intake

Collect the required details consistently while avoiding unnecessary sensitive information.

03

Acknowledgement

Confirm receipt and explain the expected response route using approved wording.

04

Routing or scheduling

Notify the agreed owner, create a supported record or offer an appropriate booking step.

Possible workflow

Service enquiry triage

A visitor selects the required service, provides agreed facts, receives an acknowledgement and the enquiry is routed to the correct mailbox or owner.

Possible workflow

Appointment request

An eligible visitor reaches a supported booking step, receives the applicable confirmation and the responsible person is notified.

Possible workflow

CRM enquiry record

An agreed form creates or updates a supported CRM record with selected fields and a notification for human follow-up.

Possible workflow

Structured document request

A visitor receives the appropriate request route, supplies the agreed information and the responsible person is notified for review.

Responsible automation

Keep people responsible for judgement, promises and sensitive decisions

Automation should reduce routine handling while leaving exceptions, commercial decisions and higher-risk communication with an authorised person.

The workflow can

Handle an agreed repeatable step

  • Collect approved enquiry fields
  • Apply simple documented routing rules
  • Send an approved receipt acknowledgement
  • Create a supported record or notification
  • Offer an approved scheduling route
  • Record defined measurement events
A person should retain

Judgement and business accountability

  • Assessment of unusual or complex enquiries
  • Professional, regulated or legal decisions
  • Pricing, credit and contractual commitments
  • Complaints, safeguarding or sensitive matters
  • Approval of important external communication
  • Monitoring of failures and exceptional cases

Automation does not guarantee enquiries, conversion or sales

Results also depend on the offer, market, traffic, reputation, response quality and other business factors. MEG delivers the accepted website and workflow scope, not a guaranteed commercial outcome.

Project delivery

Four checkpoints from requirement to launch and handover

The timetable begins after scope, content responsibilities, dependencies and payment terms are agreed.

01 · Understand

Requirement review

Clarify audiences, services, desired actions, required pages, integrations and practical success measures.

02 · Define

Scope and inputs

Confirm deliverables, responsibilities, content, access, exclusions, price, stages and acceptance points.

03 · Deliver

Build, connect and test

Create the responsive website, configure included enquiry components and complete agreed testing and revisions.

04 · Complete

Approve, launch and hand over

Obtain approval, complete the agreed launch and provide applicable operating guidance and post-launch support.

Clear project ownership

MEG builds the accepted solution; the client owns business facts and approvals

The written proposal adjusts this responsibility map where a project has different requirements.

Project boundaries

Separate major additions from the starting package

A clear boundary prevents a focused website project from quietly becoming an unlimited development, content or systems programme.

Can be quoted separately

Additional creative and technical work

  • Additional pages or page types
  • Full copywriting, photography or video production
  • Brand strategy or complete visual identity
  • Complex e-commerce, memberships or portals
  • Custom software, plugins or API development
  • Data migration, cleansing or large product entry
Normally separate costs

Third-party products and ongoing operation

Commercial starting point

Price and payment stages are confirmed before work begins

Website projects are normally paid 50% to start and 50% before the approved website is launched. A proposal may use different milestones where project size, third-party costs or delivery stages require them.

  • Public prices are starting packages in GBP
  • Applicable tax is stated on the quotation
  • Third-party costs are identified separately
  • No launch occurs before the applicable approval and payment stage
After launch

Choose defined ongoing Digital Care

A completed website does not include indefinite updates, monitoring or support. An eligible WordPress website can be assessed for Digital Care from £79 per month.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Websites & Enquiry Automation

Why are the prices described as starting packages?

Two websites with the same page count can require very different content, integrations, data handling and testing. The written proposal confirms the final scope and price before commitment.

Will MEG write all website content?

The client supplies approved facts and source content. Growth Website includes refinement of client-supplied facts, not unlimited research or full copywriting. Broader copywriting can be quoted separately.

Are domain registration and hosting included?

Not unless the proposal expressly includes them. The client normally owns and pays for the domain, hosting and third-party subscriptions. MEG can specify suitable requirements and configure agreed services.

Can you connect the website to our CRM or booking system?

Yes, where the selected system is supported and the connection fits the accepted package. Complex configuration, custom API work, data migration or wider CRM improvement is quoted separately.

Does automation replace human follow-up?

No. It can collect, acknowledge, route or schedule according to agreed rules. Your nominated person remains responsible for monitoring the process, handling exceptions and responding appropriately.

Will the website guarantee more leads or sales?

No. MEG can deliver a clearer website and enquiry journey, but commercial outcomes also depend on market demand, positioning, traffic, reputation, pricing and the quality and speed of follow-up.

What happens after launch?

The applicable handover and post-launch support are stated in the package and proposal. Ongoing updates, monitoring and support require an accepted Digital Care plan or a separately agreed scope.
