Access and confidentiality

Access follows a defined lifecycle

The exact controls depend on the engagement, systems and information involved and are documented where applicable.

01

Assess first

Establish the requester’s authority and use external or read-only checks first where practical.

02

Limit access

Use temporary, individual and least-privilege accounts appropriate to the agreed task or role.

03

Protect the change

Confirm the applicable authority and an appropriate backup before material system changes begin.

04

Close access

Revoke temporary access and rotate credentials after completion, replacement or service exit.

Do not send credentials through ordinary email or public forms

If access is required, MEG arranges an appropriate sharing method after reviewing the requirement. Confidentiality and data-processing terms are used where applicable.

Technology and documentation

Use practical technology supported by appropriate records

The tools and documents used depend on the service, duration, systems, information, third-party costs and commercial risk.

Automation approach

Use technology where the benefit can be defined and tested

  • Start with the business task and intended result
  • Use conventional automation where it is sufficient
  • Identify any live third-party AI service before implementation
  • Disclose applicable usage costs and data-handling considerations
  • Test the workflow against the accepted requirement
Delivery documents

Define the commitment and record the outcome

  • Written proposal
  • Service order or statement of work
  • Master service terms where appropriate
  • Non-disclosure agreement where required
  • Data-processing agreement where applicable
  • Completion record or monthly service report
Frequently asked questions

Clarifying delivery, responsibilities and approval

How do I know which delivery model applies?

If MEG is being asked to complete and review a defined digital result, the project or managed-plan model applies. If you need recurring support from an approved office-based team member, the Dedicated Business Support model applies.

Are dedicated team members independent freelancers?

No. Candidates are recruited against the confirmed role and, after client approval, work from MEG’s managed Islamabad office. MEG provides the applicable workplace, attendance management, local administration and service coordination.

Who approves the dedicated support team member?

The client interviews suitable candidates and approves the preferred person. The client then provides business priorities, role procedures, systems, training and work approvals, while MEG manages the agreed workplace, attendance and service coordination.

Can digital services and Dedicated Business Support be combined?

Yes, where both are appropriate, but they remain separately scoped. MEG delivers the accepted digital project or managed plan, while the dedicated role supports recurring work under the applicable service arrangement.

How are passwords and system access handled?

Do not place passwords, private keys or confidential access information in public forms or ordinary email. If access is required, MEG confirms the appropriate temporary, least-privilege account and sharing method after reviewing the requirement.

Does MEG use AI in every automation project?

No. Technology is selected around the defined business task. Conventional automation may be more suitable. If a live third-party AI service is proposed, the workflow, cost and relevant data-handling terms are disclosed before implementation.
